Full description

This series consists of a register that recorded the names of owners of property within the municipality. The register is arranged by locality within a Parish. Examples include the Township of Maffra within the Parish of Maffra; the Township of Briagalong within the Parish of Briagalong; the Township of Heyfield-Bridge within the Parish of Tinamba; and Country Allotments within the Parish of Maffra. Within each Parish, the Register is arranged in order of Section, and within each Section in order of Allotment.

The Register contains a description of each property and the name of the owner. It also includes the township where the owner lived. The remarks column is mainly used to record the names of new owners and sometimes date of change of ownership.

The Register includes an index which is arranged by name of locality.
