VPRS 17400 Aerial Photographs of Victorian Railway Line Sections

This series was created by Victorian Railways to check and track assets and changes along the Victorian rail corridors.

The photographs are a series of aerial runs along the corridors over a period of forty-two years that show changes over time along the rail corridors e.g.; extended/changed rail lines; track works; drainage works; buildings; housing density etc.

In addition to the image, each photograph records the date it was taken, the line it was taken along, the location along the line in either miles and chains or kilometre points, and a photograph number.
