Full description

Only one volume of this series is known to exist. It is believed to be the only one created and was introduced as a result of changed procedures in managing the transfer of bodies from the hospital to undertakers. It is essentially a "Mortuary Out - Book".

It contains two different sets of records, one starting at the front of the volume and one at the back. They both record: Name of deceased, Age, Sex, Date of Death, Date of Removal, Undertaker, Tel. in chronological order.

The records at the front are for "Private Burials". The records at the back are "Hospital Burials" and are in groups of roughly 5-20 "boxes" which have been transferred to one undertaker at the same time.
