The East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority is administered by a Ministerially appointed Board, supported by professional staff and outdoor work crews. From its beginning the Authority's structure included advisory committees. The Catchment Advisory Groups are based within each of the major river catchment basins in East Gippsland: Mitchell, Tambo & Nicholson, Snowy and the Far East. The groups consist of local community members with a range of backgrounds and experience in natural resource management. This record series comprises the Minutes of the meetings of those advisory groups. The minutes are arranged chronologically by meeting date within each particular advisory group.
