The purpose of the records was to record the proceedings of the meetings of the Board Members. Minutes related to the full range of activities for which the Board was responsible. Agenda items included inward and outwards correspondence, Secretary's report, Engineers report, Board Members reports, accounts and estimates, general business, deputations, inspections, audit reports, elections, committee reports, by-laws, petitions and other reports. Meeting papers include technical reports, copies of inward correspondence, copies of minutes of other bodies and copies of published articles.
