VPRS 16866 Committees Attendance Book (Committee of Management, Finance Committee and House Committee)

Full description

The book records attendance at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Committee of Management, Finance committee and House committee. Attendance for each person, or reason for non-attendance (on leave, retired, resigned or died) is recorded. The volume is divided roughly into thirds with a few blank pages separating the attendance role for each Committee. The date range for all three committees is 1958-1983, with the House Committee having an additional year to 1984.

There are some plain ruled pages at the back of the volume where summary information has been added. It includes a list of members of the Committee of Management and the date at which they joined and left the committee for the period 1958-1985. There is also a separate table of the retirement date of each person. A loose typed sheet is included at the back on which re-appointment dates for members of the Committee of Management is listed for the period 1985-1987.

It is unknown if there were previous or subsequent volumes in this series.

Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Archives. They were part of RCH accession number 2010/005.
