They were part of RCH accession number 2000/0004. Full description

Dr William Snowball was connected with the Melbourne Hospital for Sick Children (which became the Royal Children's Hospital) from c1879 until his death in 1902. He was resident doctor for nearly three years and joined the honorary staff after he left to commence private practice. He was Honorary Attending Medical Officer from 1882 to 1902. All the items in PROV's custody were originally donated to the RCH by Dr Snowball's descendent Bill Snowball of Cockatoo, Vic. (c1995).

Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Archives. They were part of RCH accession number 2000/0004. Note: a number of items from this accession have been retained by the RCH Archives.
