This series comprises a single volume titled 'Clerk and Draughtsman Training Course 1967'. The title page has the sub-heading 'Notes Prepared for Clerical Draughting Course 1967' and was used to formally train draughtsman of the Department.Content includes administrative background and history, departmental procedures and functions, and information on equipment and draughting techniques.
The content is broken down into four parts, each with a number of sub-sections:
1) Occupation Branch Practice
2) Survey Division Practice
3) Penmanship
4) Computations
Pages are numbered with the prefix LEC, indicating that the notes from each sub-section formed the content of a single lecture.
For archival researchers it provides invaluable insight into the administrative and draughting practices of the Occupation Branch and Survey Division in the late
1960's. Series was transferred to PROV as part of the transfer project that accessioned VPRS 16306 Record Plans (Putaway and Current). It was provided to PROV by Department of Sustainability and Environment staff so that the recordkeeping system of the Record Plans could be better understood.
