Refschauge (1948-1951); Dr J.C. Laver (1952-1969).Series HistoryThis series was not registered within the RWH Archives. Full description

This series contains the extant remanent of patient history records of staff treated at the Women's Hospital from 1931 to 1958.

This series consists of loose folios, comprising the patient history sheet with attached correspondence and diagnostic test results.

The records relate to both clinical and administrative staff admitted either for in-house treatment or treated as out patients. The range of staff ailments was diverse and not restricted to obstetric or gynaecological problems. The histories include staff accidents like falling off a tram, as well as routine infections and conditions.
