This series contains the Board papers (agendas, minutes and papers) of the Rural Finance Corporation II (VA 2985).

The Board papers were created to record summary details of the general administrative activities of the Board and Corporation discussed at meetings, decisions made on matters brought before the Board, correspondence received, tenders approved, loans approved , appointments, summaries of reports, and budget and expenditure information. Papers relate to the wide range of activities for which the Board was responsible.

The records can include personal information about applicants and recipients for loans, including full financial status of applicants and loan recipients considered to be in financial difficulty, including amounts owing, actions taken to recover funds and other sensitive information.

In 2014, the Victorian Government sold Rural Finance Corporation II to Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. The Rural Finance Corporation Board of Management continued to hold meetings until June 2016.
