The Dental Prosthetists and Qualified Dental Technicians Advisory Committee was constituted pursuant to Section 82 of the Dental Practice Act 1999 (No. 26/1999). It was established in order to provide expert advice to the Board on dental care to be provided by registered dental prosthetists and other persons qualified as dental technicians. The inaugural meeting was held on 12/02/2001. In late 2001 or early 2002 the committee changed its name to The Dental Prosthetists Advisory Committee. In 2007 the committee bacame a special-purpose committee which would only meet at a minimum of once a year and when called upon by the Board. These records consist of the minutes, agendas and papers of the committee.
