Full description

The Advanced Dental Technicians Qualifications Board was constituted under Part 2 of the Dental Technicians Act 1972 (the Act came into operation on 1/12/1974). It was responsible for supervising the conduct and practice of dental mechanics by advanced dental technicians. The Board consisted of seven members, each from a different professional body. The final meeting of the Board was held on 28/06/2000. The Dental Practice Act 1999 provided for a single regulatory body, the Dental Practice Board of Victoria, to replace the existing Dental Board, Advanced Dental Technicians Qualifications Board and Dental Technicians Licencing Committee.
