Full description

This series comprises volumes containg original copies of memoranda. Memoranda were prepared by the Office of Victorian Railways Commissioners and signed by the Chairman of Victorian Railways Commissioners. Each memorandum is signed by the Minister of Railways and approved by the Governor - in - Council. Memoranda are typically requesting approval for funding or project works. There are also submissions from treasury on the matter of pensions and gratuity for outgoing employees.

Each volume is numbered 1 to 17. Each memorandum has a folio number, but control records for this series were not identified at the time of transfer.
