This series comprises records of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Corporation (VA 4782) and its predecessor Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Pty Ltd (VA 4784). It also includes records of Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Bid Pty Ltd, the company established with the aim of securing the Games for Victoria (operating from 1997 - 1999).
The series includes records of the bid strategy, the bid records, and all aspects of the planning and delivery of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. It includes physical and digital records (and email, if it had been registered by a user in the Corporation’s record system).
