Full description
This series was created by the Fisheries and Wildlife Division of the Chief Secretary's Department (VA 475) and its administrative successor, Ministry for Conservation (VA 551).Some wildlife species caused problems to landowners by damaging pastures and crops and, although most have been fully protected in Victoria since the late 1800s farmers have been able to get destruction permits if the Director of Fisheries and Wildlife was satisfied that a problem was genuine.

- maximum number and type of wildlife allowed for destruction
