Full description

This series registers correspondence received by the Inspector's Branch of the Department of Crown Lands and Survey (VA 538). This Branch was concerned with the inspection of land settlements and particularly with matters to do with the monitoring and regulation of vermin and noxious weeds. Details of this latter task is outlined in the text for VA 1376 Vermin and Noxious Weeds Destruction Board.

Details given are the date of the receipt of the letter, the number of the correspondence (allocated sequentially), the name of the correspondent and the subject of the piece of correspondence. The final column gives details of the movement of the correspondence to action officers.
