Full description

This record series comprises three large volumes of Plan Books. The first and second volumes in the series contain plan books of parishes. The plans were photolithographed by the Department of Lands and Survey in Melbourne. The date of production appears, usually, on the bottom of the plan. The plans provide ownership details in relation to the land parcels that the plans describe. Natural features are also captured in the plans. The Shire has annotated the plans with its own comments.

Volume 3 also comprises plans. However they are plans of subdivisions prepared by vendors for the purpose of sale of parcels of land within those subdivisions.
