This is an artificial series created by the archives to register two returns that have become separated from their original recordkeeping systems. Both collate information regarding pastoral occupation of the lands of Victoria whether by license to occupy or by lease.

One record was apparently an enclosure to correspondence with the registered number of 52/2825 and the notation that it was a return to the Colonial Treasurer. It is identified as a Statement of all Occupants of Crown Lands in the Settled, Intermediate and Unsettled Areas of Victoria in Year 1852.
