This series consists of Examination Results from Swinburne's Summer School sessions held at both the TAFE Division (VA 4668) and the Higher Education Division (VA 1217) of Swinburne.

Results may be in the form of a percentage mark, or a letter grade, or both. Final Exam Results and Final Assessment Results may be located within this series. Letter grades include SC (Satisfactory Class Completion), NSC (No Satisfactory Class Completion), CIP (Competency in Progress), CSSP (Commenced Study, Stopped Participating), NCS (Never Commenced Study), CM (Competent - No Higher Grade Available), NYC (Not Yet Competent), RC (Recertified Competent), NFA (Not Formally Assessed), HD (High Distinction), D (Distinction), C (Credit), P (Pass), N (Fail), DEF (Deferred), CON (Continuing), GCM (Competent - With Percentage Mark), GNYC (Not Yet Competent - No Percentage Mark Shown), CX (Completed - Externally Assessed), NX (Not Completed - Externally Assessed), FP (Fail Pass), CP (Conceded pass), COMP (Completed), EXM (Exempt), CONT (Continuing), SPX (Special Exam), NWD (Not Pass, Withdrawn), NA (No Attempt), WDFP (Withdrawn, Fee payable), NLWD (Not Pass/Late Withdrawal), SP (Passed Supplementary Assessment), SN (Failed Supplementary Assessment).

Information recorded in the Examination Results includes the name of the candidate, the subject code, the course code, the examination number, the result, and if the result was amended, the new result, the initials of the person who altered it, and the date it was altered.

Result Amendment notices, memos, and special exam notifications were also included where necessary. These indicated the reason for a change of mark, the date of the change of the mark, and provided in most cases the name or names of persons whose authorisation was needed for the alteration to occur.
