The Scholarship Holder Books were created to document details of scholarship holders in the period c.1891 - 1926.

Information varies slightly from volume to volume, but in general includes:

Name
Date of birth
School presented from
Date scholarship was commenced
School attending whilst under scholarship
Date scholarship terminated
Amount and date paid of allowance
Whether allowance was paid for transit or tuition
To whom allowance was paid
Principal's annual report on conduct and progress
Remarks (including reasons for suspension of the scholarship or note that an Exhibition, or University scholarship, has been awarded)

This series was transferred to PROV from the Education History Unit of the Department of Education and Training.
