Full description

These cards were created to maintain an index to all licensed sub-agents in Victoria and to summarise individual license details and renewal dates for each sub-agent.

The cards were used to record the sub-agent's surname and Christian names, their registered address, the name of the intended employer, the date and year of approval, the court where the licence was issued and the subsequent yearly renewal dates for the licence.

Some cards also contain a six digit number, as at August 2001 it is not known what this number is for, but it is possible that it was used for licences still current when the Estate Agents Board introduced a computerised registration database (which replaced this system) in 1981.
