The State Advisory Board on Publications were required to review publications and decide whether they were appropriate for distribution in Victoria for persons under the age of eighteen.

This series provides details of the proceedings of the meetings of the Board. In particular, it lists the titles of adult magazines that were reviewed by the Board.

Researchers are advised that some of the titles of the publications listed in the minutes are of a crude or suggestive nature.

The minutes also contain details of liaison with the Minister.
