This series comprised volumes containing employment history sheets of employees who worked for the Electrical Engineering Branch during the period 1921 to 1965.

The information recorded includes:
- Name, date and place of birth, address and qualifications
- Date of appointment, classification and
- Other information (date of permanent employment, resignation, retirement and transfer).

Summary details of employees were recorded on personnel history cards also (refer to VPRS 12594, Employee History Cards, Electrical Engineering Branch.
