Full description

This series consists of various types of schedules prepared by the personnel division of the Victorian Railways. Schedules, which provided summary personnel information and were divided into the following types:

Permanent appointments (schedule C)
Tabled the number of officers and employees on the supplementary list of each Branch.

Appointment and removal of staff (schedule D)
For each Branch, the personnel reference and relevant page number was given for staff appointments and removals.

Promotions (schedule E)
For each Branch, the personnel reference and relevant page number was given for staff promotions.

General Stores (schedule G)
Listed contracts, tenderers, particulars of service and estimated expenditure for up-coming general store requirements. Contracts were given a sequential General Stores Schedule (G.S.S) number (see VPRS 419 Contract Register).
