The series summarised the employment history of the Met-Rail Division employees who ceased work during the period 1983 to 1991. The contents of this series however, extends back to 1925 as the previous employment details were recorded on these cards.

The information recorded includes:
- Name of the employee
- Date of birth
- Date of appointment
- Designation and salary
- Other information (date of permanent appointment, date of death, resignation, etc.).
