Full description
This series consists of writs issued by the Court mainly for ca.sa (capias ad satisfaciendum) or fi.fa (fieri facias). The latter type of writ directs the sheriff at the Supreme Court tp seize assets belonging to the defendant with a view to selling them in order to pay the judgment amount. A ca.sa. writ does the same but also has the defendant arrested. Both writs are normally served against defendants who have been declared insolvent.
