Full description


The Public Service Act 1958 required that employees within the Victorian Public Service were required to give two weeks notice of their intent to resign from their position. The notice was required in writing and directed to the public servant in charge of the public office that the person was employed in.

This series consists of letters of resignation from employees within the various divisions of the Department of the Chief Secretary. They are addressed to the Under Secretary of the Department.
