This series constitutes the index to inward correspondence. Correspondence was indexed under one of a set of standard classification terms reflecting the functions of the Tribunal. The index also records the top-numbering of some items. It is not known if an index was maintained in this form after 1973. Initial registration and classification of correspondence was undertaken using VPRS 11415 Register of Inward Correspondence.
