This series consists of a register of Victorian Government employees who had retired and become eligible for a Public Service Pension under the provisions of the Public Service Act between 1886 and 1928. For pensions authorised under a particular Act within a particular Department, it provides the following details:

Date of retirement
Date of Order in Council
Correspondence number
Office or situation
Grounds for retirement
Period and length of service
Average salary
Rate of pension
Date of commencement
Salary at date of retirement
Remarks (date retiree died)
