Full description
Liability expenditure is expenditure authorised by the Treasurer appropriated from a Trust Fund. Generally, expenditure does not occur from Trust Funds because the proceeds from such funds are held in trust for the various purposes and interests of agencies within Victorian Government and may eventually be refundable to them. Where such expenditure does take place, the Treasurer is liable for its reimbursement.
This series records transactions that occurred from Trust Funds on a month by month basis. It names each Trust Fund and lists debits and credits to that fund for each month. This series also provides summaries for the same on a quarterly basis.
Debits from each Trust Fund are recorded in VPRS 11332 Detail ledgers of Expenditure (Consolidated Revenue Fund).
