This series indexed applications for legal assistance. It also provided access to records in VPRS 5273 Case Files and Advice Only forms.The series recorded, for every application:
The name and address of the applicant,
The date of the enquiry,
The initials of the officer handling the matter,
The type of matter,
The file number or whether the enquiry resulted in advice only (AO), and
File movement details (on some cards).
Cards for some clients (particularly in relation to Family Law matters) are accompanied by coloured cards listing the names and dates of birth of dependent children.
