Full description

This series was created to document variations made to the content or the jurisdiction of a particular award. Most of the variations to the awards were made before the creation of the Employee Relations Commission in 1992.

With the abolition of the Conciliation and Arbitration Boards in 1992 it was necessary to ensure that future variations to an existing award occurred. Scope clauses were inserted by the particular Board to define the purpose of the award. Incidence of Award clauses means that scope clauses have been added to the award.

In some cases it was not necessary to define the scope of the award. These records are listed as having no scope clauses.

Details include the actual content of the variation and the date the variation was to come into operation.
