VPRS 11518 General Correspondence Files, Alpha-Numeric System

Full description

This series consists of general correspondence files created by the Public Bodies Review Committee (VA 3093) between 1992 and 1996. Individual files relate to general administrative matters of the Committee agendas and minutes for all meetings held (both formal and informal), Committee establishment and procedural matters. The series also contained files relating to routine matters such as personnel and finance activities, which were culled for destruction in 1998.

By and large this series does not contain information pertaining to the inquiries conducted by the Committee. These have been transferred as VPRS 8678 Inquiry Files.

The series was created in 1992 to replace a series of administrative files which was arranged in a single number sequence (VPRS 8679). It ended with the abolition of the Committee following the 1996 State Election.
