The School Global Budget Research Project was created to determine the feasibility of the global budget as a basis for funding schools, and consequently to implement such a funding strategy.

The records contained in this series comprise contracts, correspondence, reports and documents of a study tour, and minutes of committee meetings.

The contract documentation contains requests for approval to engage consultants, submissions and reports from consultants to the Research Project Working Party, relevant financial accounts, and the contracts themselves.
