This series comprises a variety of records collected or created by the Estimates Committee [VA 4058] in the course of its activities.

Contents

The majority of records within this series were created in the course of the investigation undertaken by the Committee. The following broad categories of documents form part of this series:-

Minutes of meetings.

General files containing either correspondence received by the Committee, information provided to the Committee by various Government Departments, or replies tendered to questionnaires of the Committee.

Transcripts of hearings held during its investigations.

Reports including draft and minority copies, and the final printed copy as presented to Parliament, containing the Committee's findings and recommendations.
