Full description

This series consists of the minutes and papers of the Archives Committee of the La Trobe University. The archives committee was responsible for the development and monitoring of policies and procedures concerning the Universitys records. The Committee routinely received reports from the University Archivist and Records Manager.

Agenda, minutes and background papers (also known as business papers) were created for numerous committees of the La Trobe University. Agenda were not routinely retained, and the minutes and background papers have been bound together without any form of index. The minutes in this series are believed to be the official record of proceedings at La Trobe University Archives Committee meetings, although not all minutes are signed.
