VPRS 10567 Correspondence Files-Grazing Licences consists of correspondence files for grazing licences on land that was originally controlled by the Department of Crown Lands and Survey (VA 538). The land title has since been transferred to the Department of State Forests (Forests Commission) (VA 534). The Forests Act 1915 stipulated that tenants who had grazing licence permits on Crown land that was transferred to State Forests were able to remain on their allotment however, applications for new leases and licences and all correspondence was to be made to State Forests.
