This series contains the detailed records regarding the Vote of funds for the administration of the mining function at the time when this was one of the responsibilities of VA 538 Department of Crown Lands and Survey.

On the lefthand side of each double folio is recorded the division of the Vote and the amount of funds allocated for that division. Disbursements from that division are recorded on the righthand side with details of the date, the payee and, in some instances the reason for the payment, the voucher number and the amount.
