Full description

This series consists of one volume labelled Visitors Book: Aboriginal Board. It provides details of the daily movements and activities of Friedrich August Hagenauer when he was Inspector General of the Board for the Protection of Aborigines. Entries date from January 1903 to June 1906.
Each page is dedicated to a single month, with a row for each day of the month listing travel movements (eg. Melbourne to Ramahyuck), where the night was spent, and the reason for the visit (eg. inspection, Sunday service, office work etc.).
