These records were kept by the Latrobe Valley Development Advisory Committee as part of the records required to assist it in its function of advising the Government regarding the development of the important resources of the Latrobe Valley. Records relate to all aspects of Latrobe Valley planning and development including the exploitation of the brown coal resources of the area and the development of the social and economic infrastructure.
