Full description

This series is a duty roster for officers at Castlemaine Gaol, in which the officers shifts for the upcoming 4 weeks were recorded and the locations in which officers would be working. The actual hours worked by each officer, and any overtime owing or leave taken, were also recorded.

Names of warders are written across the top of the page. Above each name in red is recorded the overtime (or undertime) of each employee at the beginning of the 4 week period.

The days of the week run down the left hand side of the page for a 4 week period.
