The Curriculum and Research Branch of the Education Department was responsible for the development and testing of courses of study for Education Department schools.

This series consists of data, particularly test data, collected by the Branch in the course of developing and evaluating the effectiveness of a number of courses of study and programs. Original test scripts have been systematically filed and retained. Other units contain drafts of publications prepared for teachers outlining courses of study and desired outcomes and the recommended methods of teaching.
