Victoria's waste and resource recovery infrastructure map data

Brief description

This dataset details the current locations of Victoria’s waste, recycling and resource recovery infrastructure facilities, including:



* landfills



* hazardous waste facilities



* material recovery facilities (MRF)



* resource recovery centres (also known as transfer stations)



* reprocessors.





For each infrastructure facility, the dataset includes:



* name



* facility type



* infrastructure type



* facility owner



* address.





This dataset does not include:



* Small-scale infrastructure such as battery collection points. This information can be found on [Planet Ark’s Recycling Near You website](https://recyclingnearyou.com.au/).



* Non-licenced landfills or closed landfills. This information can be found on the [Victoria Unearthed map](https://mapshare.vic.gov.au/victoriaunearthed/).
