Full description
This collection contains GDM transformed grids for vascular plant species compositional turnover models for two bio-realms: the Nearctic Boreal Forest / Taiga and Neotropical Moist Tropical Forest. The GDM parameter files are included, along with some outputs describing the GDM model outputs. This is just two of the many GDM models for bio-realms of the world.
This collection is compiled for the purpose of testing the new R-packaged Survey Gap Analysis Tool.
Data are raster ESRI float files (*.flt and *.hdr) in geographics, WGS84, 0.008333 degrees, approximately 250 m global grids.
Lineage: The lineage is described in the attached GDM parameter files for the vascular plant models, 'GDMready7_5_Params', for each biorealm. Additional files (PDF, image tif) describe outputs of the model. The formal description of methods is provided in Hoskins AJ, Harwood TD, Ware C, Williams KJ, Perry JJ, Ota N, Croft JR, Yeates DK, Jetz W, Golebiewski M, Purvis A, Robertson T and Ferrier S (2020) BILBI: Supporting global biodiversity assessment through high-resolution macroecological modelling.
