Full description Tuberculosis and leprosy are a significant health threat globally. Granuloma is well recognised as a pivotal tissue response regulating bacterial survival and host immunopathology. However, cellular structure governing the diverse granuloma function is unknown. This project will employ tissue imaging to determine lesion structures underlying the different disease outcomes. The findings will provide new knowledge in disease pathogenesis and assist in developing new therapies and animal models.
