Brief description
A Vaisala CL51 ceilometer, owned by the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, was deployed aboard all voyages aboard Aurora Australis during season 2015/16. The ceilometer provided vertical profiles of cloud backscatter, as well as cloud base height and ceilometer instrumental status information. One netCDF file per hour Resolution: 10m vertically x 6 seconds. Time period: 19 October 2015 – 22 February 2016 All times in UT (Universal Time) Data converted into netCDF files by Peter Kuma, University of Canterbury.Issued: 2019-07-29
