Brief description Both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) young people are at elevated risk for poor mental health. However, very little is known about young people who are both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and LGBTIQ. We aim to better understand the experiences and needs of this group of young people and develop interventions with the young people to improve social, emotional and mental wellbeing.
