Brief description Tackling antimicrobial resistance is one of the most urgent global priorities in human health today. This innovative project will involve the analysis of terabytes of data and use of cutting-edge technologies to uncover how antibiotic resistance rapidly spreads in our gut and if this is similar across the population. Findings will motivate the development of novel targeted antimicrobial therapeutics, and potentially influence policy and practices relating to our use of antimicrobials.
