Brief description Detecting cancer early is important to improve survival and quality of life. Cancer can be detected through cancer screening or timely diagnosis of patients when they present to their GP with symptoms. This program will transform approaches to detecting cancer earlier in primary care through advances in computer-aided diagnosis and use of new genetic tests to find people at increased risk of cancer.
