Train Occupancy - Nov 2016 to Feb 2017

Brief description

This dataset provides an indicator of train occupancy for individual train services from November 2016 to February 2017. The occupancy status is provided at each train station per train service per day.\n\n\nOccupancy <65% train capacity : MANY\\_SEATS\\_AVAILABLE \n\nOccupancy >= 65% train capacity : FEW\\_SEATS\\_AVAILABLE \n\nOccupancy >= 105% train capacity : STANDING\\_ROOM\\_ONLY\n\n\nThis dataset is used at Transport for NSW for planning purposes.\n\n\nTo note: \n\n• Train services between Midnight and 1.30 am are not in the dataset \n\n• There are services with no occupancy status, as the train service type (train capacity) was not available\n\n\n
